Sony Ericsson W580i |
The Sony Ericsson W580i is a slider cell phone. This small cell phone at 3.9”×1.9”×0.6” and at 3.3 ounces does it all. It sports an FM radio, MP3 functions, Bluetooth and a 2 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom. This phone also has an amazing battery with 9 hours talk time and 15.4 days standby. Additionally, the phone features a 240×320 pixel color LCD viewer. All of these hot features do come at the cost of memory on the phone. The W580i comes with memory slots that support an additional 4 gigabytes of memory. This is needed, since the phone only has a 12MB internal memory card. Ten megabytes of the memory card are taken up by bundled trial software, so deleting some of it and purchasing a memory card might be in your best interests. The small amount of memory also places limits on the type of games supported by the phone. Though the Sony Ericsson W580i is often purchased as a music player and phone, it is possible to watch downloaded movies on this phone as well. Just be sure to get a memory card to hold the movie. As a music player, if you're playing a song and a phone call interrupts, the music will pick up once the call is over. This is a definite plus if you do not want to reprogram the songs in a queue. Pros
Cons
OverallThis great, small phone is able to handle the needs of the music lover and the cell phone user in one small, stylish package. Though this phone is a little more on the high end of the price scale, it is worth it.
