Palm Treo 750 |
The Palm Treo 750 is a slim and lightweight smartphone that offers plenty of great features. Some of these features include a QWERTY keyboard with Windows Mobile 5 software, a 1.3 mega pixel camera, Mini SD memory card slot, and stereo Bluetooth. The Palm Treo 750 is smaller and a little bit lighter than its predecessors mainly due to its internal antenna. There is no longer an antenna stub, so it fits nicely in your pocket. The phone is easy to use and there is plenty of functionality for road warriors with Windows Mobile 5 operating system. I liked the fact that I can edit and view MS Word and Excel files and also view PDF and PowerPoint presentations. Using the Palm Treo 750 is a breeze, although I find the keyboard a little too bunched up for my preference, I would prefer a little more room to type my emails and send texts. There is stereo Bluetooth on board, but no wifi capability. The Bluetooth synced with no problems and sending pictures from the phone took only a few seconds. The 1.3 mega pixel camera took excellent photos for a phone camera, but don't throw out your normal digital camera just yet. Another good feature is the memory card slot (Mini SD Memory Card); I would prefer the new Micro SD Memory Card though, since it is becoming very popular. Using the phone was extremely easy. Navigating and going through the various menus was a breeze. If you owned a Treo in the past or new to the Treo 750, there is a very slight learning curve (15 to 20 minutes) for basic set up. I had no dropped calls or any problems with reception. I use the phone a lot and the rubberized grip on the sides and the back make it easy to hold. Pros
Cons
OverallThe Palm Treo 750 is a very nice smart phone that has plenty of features and few things that need to be improved. Overall, you can't go wrong, but if you shop around a little, you might find something a little better for your money.
