The Nokia N97 is definitely a high-tech, high-end device. Recently revealed by Nokia, this beautiful cell phone/mini computer has a gorgeous 3-inch tilt screen and a full QWERTY keyboard. The tilt screen makes viewing the Internet, texts, and emails a breeze, plus it adds an air of whimsy to the phone.
The phone allows the user to access social networking sites with ease, and actually has some built in features for that purpose. The built-in GPS sensor lets users notify others of their location, and also integrates that feature into its social networking platform. Speaking of platforms, the phone also has a gaming platform so users can download, install, and then play a number of different games. There is a built in 5 megapixel digital camera with Carl Zeiss optics, as well as a large memory capacity of 32GB that can be expanded with a memory card. The Nokia N97 easily rivals Apple's iPhone in terms of look and function. Widgets and other commands can be moved around on the screen with just a touch of the finger. Various wallpapers can be chosen, and they stay nicely faded in the background when the menus are brought up. The N97, however, does not have the multi-touch feature. This phone looks great and is sturdy enough that you feel as if you're carrying a miniature computer around in your pocket. The back of the phone has a spot where a small door folds down, and this protects the camera lens and flash. Pros
Cons
OverallOverall, the N97 is a shining achievement for Nokia, and it's certainly something that will impress the most technically savvy of cell phone users. Click on the photo for more information on the Nokia N97
