Nokia 6275i

Nokia 6275i

The Nokia 6275i is an awesome phone; it delivers great features and for the most part works seamlessly. The 6275i is a candy bar phone with an internal antenna, while it doesn't look like anything special, it does deliver plenty of features.

First off, the 6275i includes a portable music player. It includes easy to use external controls for navigating your music collection, a slot to add memory (Micro SD Card) which can currently hold up to 2 GB's of data, a 2 mega pixel digital camera that took awesome photos and Bluetooth capability to easily synch to your computer or wireless headphones

The size and the weight of the phone are perfect. It fits nicely in the palm of your hand and it is easy to work with when texting or taking photos. The integrated camera takes high quality images. Once shot, I've transferred these images with no hassles to my computer in just a few seconds. It has a very easy to use zoom control and even takes video.

Reception on the phone is above average and I didn't lose any calls or have trouble understanding the conversation due to drop outs or low signal. The speakerphone also works well. This is one of the few phones that have a strong speakerphone. In addition, the microphone in the phone makes it easy to have the phone on my desk and talk hands free.

One of the reasons I purchased this phone was to play MP3's on it and while it plays MP3's along with other DRM standards, I wasn't able to use my personal MP3's to create ringtones - a major disappointment.

The user interface was easy to navigate, but the display screen wasn't as good in bright light situations as I hoped for. Another negative is battery life. I found it shorter than my old phone and I am not a heavy user.

Pros

  • All around nice phone, easy to use MP3 player with FM radio
  • Bluetooth worked well and synched without any issues
  • Memory slot is a must have
  • Digital camera took high quality pictures
  • User interface was very easy to navigate
  • Above average reception and speakerphone

Cons

  • Wasn't able to create a ringtone out of my personal MP3 collection
  • Battery life could be longer

Overall

The Nokia 6275i is an excellent all around phone. MP3 player is easy to use, digital camera takes high quality images and Bluetooth worked without any issues.
