Motorola RAZR2-V9x

Motorola has done it again with a sleek yet sturdy cell phone with a metal frame and chemical hardened glass so it stands up to heavy use. This newer version also has live streaming video capability, which makes talking to others more fun. It also features CrystalTalk capability, giving the phone the clearest sound ever for conversations.

Motorola RAZR2-V9x

This beautiful, slim and sleek new version of the RAZR by Motorola comes with a touchscreen on the outside of the clamshell that features instant launch buttons. It also includes a 2 megapixel built in digital camera and Bluetooth capability, global roaming, and a world clock, making this an excellent phone for young urbanites and people who want a cell phone that does much more than just make and receive calls.

Currently, the Motorola RAZR 2-V9x is offered through AT&T and comes with AT&T Navigator (GPS system), the AT&T music store and a cellular video store. All of these features are now accessible with the touch of a button from the touch screen. In spite of the very slim appearance, the phone provides over 5 hours of talk time with a fully charged battery.

Pros

  • Sports an innovative, user-friendly design
  • The screens are bright and vibrant
  • The 2.0 MP camera takes great pictures
  • The CrystalTalk capability gives the phone unmatched sound quality

Cons

  • The lack of a shortcut for the speakerphone makes it quite difficult to get to in a hurry
  • The memory card slot is located behind the battery, which makes little sense, since you’d probably want to leave your phone ON when you insert or remove it

Overall

Despite a couple of drawbacks, the Motorola RAZR 2-V9x is an excellent phone with key features like high-speed data, global roaming and hearing aid compatibility.
