The QVGA display is ample and has a high resolution. Along with the easy to read display, there is also a camera that operates with a two-megapixel configuration. Video sharing is a nice extra, and the voice dialing is ideal when your hands are busy. If you like to store a lot of data on your phone, the CU720 is the right choice. The phone provides 70 MB of internal memory. Memory cards can up the ante to 4GB.

While the talk time and standby time are not the best on the market, the other features help to make up for the need to charge more frequently.

Pros

  • Audio quality on the phone is excellent, with secure connections
  • Slider construction is easy to work and holds up well
  • Camera takes excellent pictures

Cons

  • Talk time is only three hours, could be improved
  • Standby time is low too, only ten days
  • Ringtones could be louder
  • At over four ounces, this is not the lightest phone on the market

Final Word

The LG Shine-CU720 is certainly a jewel in LG's crown. While the phone is slightly heavier than many options on the market today, the thin frame and great features make it worth considering.
