The Incite is LG’s first smartphone, and is a great addition to the LG family. The touchscreen interface makes it easy to use, and the phone has a colorful, crystal clear display that makes navigation a breeze. The OS is Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, which includes great applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office programs.
A GSM quad-band phone capable of global roaming, the LG Incite is the perfect phone and PDA combo for business people on the go. It also includes Windows Media Player 10, so viewing video and listening to audio is easy. It has a sleek design and a large 3-inch screen. The resolution of 240x400 pixels is one of the highest on the market today. However, this resolution turns out to be too high for the screen size because it makes text and icons tiny and difficult to read. This 3G-capable phone has an impressive talk-time and standby time, at up to 8.7 hours and 504 hours respectively. Pros
Cons
OverallAside from a few quirks which hopefully LG will work out later on, the Incite is a nice phone with great features that make it simple to use and up with the times. The phone includes Wi-Fi capability, XM radio interface, an FM radio, and access to AT&T Mobile Music service. It is certainly a smartphone with a lot of extras for people who like to use the multimedia experience with their cell phones. Since it operates with Windows Mobile, a lot of people will find it helpful and convenient, since they can transfer, use, and work on files related to school or business.
