The Huawei M328 is an inexpensive, basic flip phone that offers users standard phone options as well as a few surprisingly advanced options.
Device Dimensions and AppearanceAn average-sized clamshell phone, the Huawei measures 3.5 x 1.8 x 0.8 inches and weighs in at 3.2 ounces. The device boasts a slim, but nondescript, appearance and is available in a standard chrome coloring. A small rectangular display screen on the outside of the phone stands out as the phone's major distinguishing feature. Display Screen Sizes and FeaturesThe device's external display provides 65k color and a paltry, but not unexpected given its size, 64 x 96 resolution. The phone's internal display screen is a small color TFT screen providing 128 x 160 pixels of resolution. A built-in camera is also included. Connectivity OptionsAs an entry level clamshell, the Huawei M328 has garnered attention for built-in Internet capabilities. While it does not support Wi-Fi, the device does offer WAP 2.0 and allows access to mobile email applications. Surprisingly, S-GPS and E911 is included. Productivity CapabilitiesPre-loaded productivity software on the Huawei M328 includes an alarm, calendar, calculator, and stopwatch. Voice recording and speakerphone options allow users to create voice memos and send and receive phone calls hands-free. The device's phone-book supports storage in the form of caller groups, has a 500 names capacity, and allows storage of multiple phone numbers per contact.
