The HTC Max 4G is the first cell phone modeled specifically for the Russian market using WiMAX network technology. Its manufacturer, Scartel, is located exclusively in the city of Moscow, and they have developed this phone for Russian citizens.
The HTC MAX 4G is the first GSM/WiMAX phone to be introduced in the market. The WiMAX is a 4G network, for high-speed Internet access. The phone has a 3.8” WVGA display and a 3.2 megapixel camera with auto-focus. The phone’s talk-time, at 7 hours (420 minutes) is impressive, and the standby time of 350 hours (15 days) is fairly good. For the phone’s Russian subscribers, on demand movies, music, and maps as well as games are all available. OverallThis phone has some of the best and newest capabilities, which will be a definite plus for those in the Russian market. It has some amazing new features including a large 3.8 inch touch screen display, a headphone jack with stereo sound, swift touch navigation with easy buttons, VOIP connection, built in GPS navigation, and a high resolution camera to name a few. It is one of the fastest selling mobile phones within its market, and it’s easy to see why.
