eMule

eMule is one of the biggest and most reliable peer-to-peer file sharing clients around the world. Thanks to it's open source policy many developers are able to contribute to the project, making the network more efficient with each release.

MLDonkey

MLDonkey is an open-source eDonkey and Overnet client. MLDonkey also supports the following networks: BitTorrent, Gnutella (LimeWire), Gnutella2, FastTrack, FileTP (HTTP, FTP and SSH), Kad Network, and DirectConnect.

aMule

aMule stands for all-platform Mule. aMule is an eMule-like client for the eD2k and Kademlia networks, supporting multiple platforms. aMule is built upon the wxWidgets (formely wxWindows) toolkit, which enables it to support multiple platforms.

aMule is entirely free, it's sourcecode released under the GPL just like eMule, and includes no adware or spyware as is often found in proprietary P2P applications.

xMule

xMule is an eDonkey network client. xMule uses wxWidgets for the Graphical User Interface and various parts of its core. wxWidgets allows software to compile and run on many platforms. xMule is in the process of supporting more platforms, such as Windows and Macintosh, by making more use of wxWidgets.

DC++

DC++ announces the freedom to share! DC++ is an open source client for Windows for the Direct Connect network. Direct Connect allows you to share files over the Internet without restrictions or limits. The client is completely free of advertisements and has a nice, easy to use interface. Firewall and router support is integrated and it is easy and convenientto use functionality like multi-hub connections, auto-connections and resuming of downloads.
